Festive shopping at a Christmas fair? Yes please. Gather your friends, family and children’s friends to explore the Hospice UK Christmas Fair at the Chelsea Old Town Hall. From clothes and homeware to food and drink, purchasing anything from your Christmas shopping list at the fair gives back to Hospice UK, the national charity for hospice and end of life care, with 10% of all sales donated. If you’re lucky you might also catch David Walliams there, who has donated a number of signed books which are available to buy on the day.

Looking for things to do at Christmas? There’s nothing quite like a Christmas Carol concert. And whether you have a little bundle who will be lulled to sleep or a tot who likes music, a carol concert is a joyful celebration of the season. Luckily, there are five concerts to enjoy in the run up to Christmas:
Celebrate A Life

Listen to hymns, local choirs and bands perform outside The Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea as they switch on their Christmas lights.
Place2Be’s Carol Concert
1st December, 6.30pm, Holy Trinity Church, SW1X 9BZ

This annual concert by children’s mental health charity, Place2Be, presents performances from Jamie Cullum and the Sacred Heart Primary School. Readings will be shared by Sophie Dahl, David Walliams, Paloma Faith, Ortis Deley and Jacob Anderson. You can also look forward to the Holy Trinity Choir singing the nation’s favourite Christmas carols.
Royal Brompton Carols by Candlelight
30th November, 4.30pm, St Luke’s Church, Sydney Street, SW3 6NH

A truly meaningful Christmas concert. Readings will be heard from patients and staff from Royal Brompton Hospitals, followed by the London Oratory School performing. All proceeds will support The Royal Brompton’s Next Generation Genetics appeal, providing the genetics and genomics team with a Next Generation Sequencer.
Battersea Christmas Carol Concert

Do your kids love dogs? Gather in the beautiful St Luke’s Church to sing carols in the company of Battersea dogs. You’ll be welcomed by some of the amazing rescue dogs from the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home charity. Best of all, all the money raised will help the charity bring animals in from the cold this winter and give them expert care.
Carols by Candlelight

Christmas carols will be sung as part of an elegant concert. The hall will be lit by candlelight and musicians and singers dressed in full 18th century costume.
