Understanding Bespoke Orders: Clarification of Additional Costs

However, we understand that  some explanation may be essential surrounding the pricing of bespoke orders, particularly when it comes to selecting fabrics outside our standard offerings. Allow us to shed some light on this matter.

 

Understanding Additional Costs:

When you opt for a bespoke order and choose a fabric that is not part of our standard selection, there will be an additional cost associated with this customisation. This additional cost covers the base price of the item, as well as the separate cost of the chosen fabric. Let's break it down further:

  • If you select a crib, chair, or any other item from our collection and decide to personalise it with a fabric that is not part of our standard offerings, you will be charged the base price of the item plus the additional cost of the chosen fabric.

This ensures that you receive a bespoke product tailored precisely to your preferences and specifications. Our aim is to provide you with exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail, ensuring that your piece reflects your unique style and vision.

 

Bespoke vs. Made-to-Order:

Our collections are made-to order, meaning that items are crafted when you place your order using our standard fabrics and finishes. An order is classified as bespoke when any aspect of the fabric, finish, or design is changed, no matter how small the change may be. This distinction ensures that you have the flexibility to tailor your order to suit your individual preferences.

 

Bespoke vs. Made-to-Order in Standard Fabrics:

It's important to note that both bespoke and made-to-order items can be crafted using our standard fabrics. However, with bespoke orders, you have the additional option to choose fabrics outside our standard offerings, whereas made-to-order items are typically limited to our standard fabric selection.

 

Important Information about Custom-Made Items:

  • Custom-made, bespoke, and made-to-order items such as personalised gifts, furnishings, fabric, wallpaper, etc., are made especially for you and therefore are non-returnable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged. However, in the unlikely event that the item arrives damaged, we would be happy to re-make it for you in the shortest possible timescale.

  • Many of our customised items are made by hand, and as a result, there may be slight variations in sizes and finishes due to the availability of materials used, which is absent in mass-produced goods. Please bear this in mind when placing your order. Additionally, we reserve the right to change materials used in bespoke orders where necessary. 

  • You are welcome to bring in your own fabric if you prefer, and we will gladly use it to customise your order. Simply provide us with the fabric, and we will take care of the rest. The base or standard price for the item will be charged when you supply your own fabric.

  • The delivery times for bespoke pieces vary and do take considerably longer to produce, particularly if they aren't currently offered on our website and are not in our standard fabric selections. At the time of your order, we will give you an approximate time, but please note that these times are approximate and not definite. We will endeavour to keep you informed during production.
